Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• The Graduate School of Science at the University of Tokyo will nominate eligible applicants.
• Applicants must have a GPA of 2.30 or higher (out of 3.00) in their most recent academic program.
