Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this prestigious scholarship, you must:
- Be an international student (i.e., require a study permit to study in Canada).
- Be in your final year of secondary school (graduating in 2025 or 2026), or have graduated no earlier than June 2025.
- Be planning to start your undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September 2026.
- Be nominated by your high school through the University of Toronto’s official nomination process.
- Not have started any post-secondary studies (college or university) before September 2026.
Note: Students already enrolled in another university or who begin studies elsewhere before September 2026 are not eligible.
Application Procedure
Follow these steps carefully to apply:
1. School Nomination
Timeline: July – October 10, 2025
- Ask your school principal, counselor, or head to nominate you.
- Only one student can be nominated per school per year.
- Your school must be registered with the University of Toronto’s nomination portal.
2. Apply to the University of Toronto
Deadline: October 17, 2025
- Apply to an undergraduate program at the University of Toronto via the OUAC portal.
- The scholarship applies only to your first-choice program.
3. Submit Scholarship Application
Deadline: November 7, 2025
- After your school nominates you and you apply to University of Toronto, you will receive a personalized, secure link to access the Pearson Scholarship application.
- Complete and submit your application before the deadline.
