Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good physical and mental health
- Hold a Master’s degree (equivalent to 18 years of education for some countries, like Pakistan)
- Under 40 years old
- Have strong academic & research background
- Comply with Chinese laws & university regulations
- Language requirements:
- English-taught programs:
- IELTS 6.5+ / TOEFL 90+
- OR a university-issued English proficiency certificate
- Chinese-taught programs:
- HSK Level 5 (minimum score 210)
- English-taught programs:
Required Documents
- CV and passport copy
- Notarized degree certificates & transcripts (Bachelor’s + Master’s)
- Personal statement, study plan, and research proposal (min. 2000 words)
- Two recommendation letters
- Language proficiency certificate (English or Chinese)
- Foreigner Physical Exam Form (valid within 6 months)
- Non-criminal record
- (Optional) Supervisor acceptance letter, publications, awards, or professional certifications
Application Process
- Gather all required documents
- Visit the official portal: Zhengzhou University International or click on the link given below
- Submit your application via the ZZU online system
- Wait for the results – processing takes 4–6 weeks
- If selected, you’ll receive an official admission & scholarship notice
