Study in Germany

The University of Kassel is now accepting applications for its highly regarded Exposé Scholarships 2026, a unique funding initiative designed to support early-career researchers in the crucial pre-doctoral phase. These scholarships are specifically aimed at motivated students—both international and domestic—who are in the process of preparing their doctoral research proposals (exposés).

The Exposé phase is an essential step in the German PhD system, where candidates define and refine their research questions, methodology, and theoretical frameworks. Through this scholarship, the University of Kassel provides financial assistance, expert academic guidance, and access to its extensive research infrastructure.

Successful applicants will receive monthly funding to help cover living expenses during the proposal development period, along with close supervision from experienced faculty members.
