Benefits Not Included in the AIAS-AUFF Fellowship
While the AIAS-AUFF Fellowship offers generous support, there are a few important exclusions applicants should be aware of:
- The fellowship covers salary and relocation costs only; it does not provide separate funding for day-to-day living expenses beyond the salary offered.
- Family relocation support is not included — dependents’ living costs, travel, and educational expenses must be covered by the fellow.
- Health insurance is not automatically provided; fellows are responsible for arranging their own coverage in line with Danish health system regulations.
It’s essential that applicants plan ahead financially, especially if relocating with family or expecting additional personal costs.
