Eligibility Criteria for King Abdulaziz University Scholarship 2025–2026
For Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Students:
- Must possess a secondary school certificate or equivalent obtained within the last 3 years
- Must be of good conduct
- Must be medically fit
- Must fulfill all university admission requirements
- Must commit to full-time study (morning classes only)
- Age must be between 17 and 25 years
- Must not be dismissed from any university for any reason
- Must not currently hold another Saudi government scholarship
- Female students must be accompanied by a legal male guardian who resides in Saudi Arabia
- Must agree to abide by King Abdulaziz University’s rules and regulations
For Master’s and Ph.D. Students:
- Must have an excellent academic record in previous degrees
- Age must not exceed 30 years for Master’s applicants and 35 years for Ph.D. applicants
- Must provide two academic recommendation letters from former professors
- Must not have been dismissed from any Saudi institution
- Must meet all academic and program-specific requirements
- Must provide proof of English language proficiency with one of the following scores:
- TOEFL (PBT): 500
- TOEFL (CBT): 173
- IELTS: 5.0
- Applicants to Arabic Language, Islamic Law, Sociology, Psychology, or Information Science programs must be fluent in Arabic
